Strange Country

Deny from the radio station poped in on Monday evening with a CD from a Drouin band called "Strange Country" lead by a guy called Steve Messer. It's a nice sound. They performed at the Bridges of Hope concert a few weeks ago.

Deny also brought a DVD of them performing "A Radio Romance" - a super song about Deny and Jean's romance over the airwaves. I'm angling to get a copy for the show but they haven't released a CD of it and Deny didn't seem keen to let me have a copy of the DVD (which I could have taken the audio track from for the show). It's a very romantic and quirky story which would work well on the show - so I'll persevere!
