Potential Guests

The Bridges of Hope concert the family & I went to last night was brilliant. It was too long by about an hour and a half - but totally great. It was a shame more people didn't go. They had about 300 - 400 which was good but they could have had twice that in the venue and it would have been swallowed up. It was a combination of ticket price and poor publicity that meant they didn't achieve the numbers they might have done.

I picked up two or three names which might be good on the show as potential guests and perhaps some live to air stuff. I'm checking with the station manager what facilities we have for live to air performance. One band, "Steve Messer's Strange Country" played a wonderful piece titled "Radio Romance" about a couple that courted over the airwaves - from Yarra Valley FM in fact - it was funny and romantic - a great song and idea for my show. I've tried to get a copy of it as I think it would be great to have on the show. The guy in question comes on later on Friday evening and it would be great to see if we could have an interview with him or something???
