New Targets

Hitting targets is becoming a bit of a theme at the moment! I've lost another half a pound overnight and am now only a pound away from my target of 12st 7lbs. This is old news though. I'd like to start hitting some more crucial business targets. This isn't as self-interested as it might sound - I want to be able to meet my tithe every month and to be able to be generous in my giving. Debs & I would love to be able to support another child in Uganda. Gloria Jeans coffee shops support a whole orphanage full of children in Brazil (I think) as well as giving substantially to Mercy Ministries here in Australia which is a wonderful target. I think we'd like to be able to support another little girl in Uganda by Christmas and perhaps aim to be supporting five by this time next year? I need to talk this one over with Debs.

Click here to go to the Compassion site. They do a wonderful work with the disadvantaged in a number of countries around the world. Deb & I have a particualr interest in Uganda which is why we've been supporting a Matthias.
